By now our activities are mainly related to the development of photonic devices. In order to produce complete systems for the industry we keep working in a wide range of fields. Some of the most relevant are: Optics: We have experience in the analysis of rays for optics specifically in the use of lasers. This includes the use of array of lenses, mirrors, gratings, filters and other devices to achieve high quality optics.

Fiber: In this area we have been working with Monomodal as well as Multimodal fibers of different materials. Cleaving, coupling and splicing fibers are also part of our typical activities in the laboratory. Optomechanics: Mechanical devices if a fundamental area because they allow the manipulation of the light for different purposes. These mechanical devices can be galvos, polygon spindles, and spatial light modulators amongst others.

Lasers: Nowadays there is a large amount of lasers available in the market and this number is increasing. Their high degree of monochromatisity make them suitable for many applications. We have worked with solid state, gas and diodes where the ray is used directly or coupled into fibers. Image processing: The digital manipulation of images is a relevant area in optics. Some of the information processing is doing with PC or microcontrollers. PC programming: Our devices are intended to be highly automated. For that reason we use computers to control but also to maintain a friendly communication with the user through graphical environments.

Microcontrollers: The core of the control of the optomechanical systems are in the microcontrollers like FPGAs and microprocessors. They are able to control the digital information at very high speeds and in parallel. Elecntronics: The hardware allows an appropriate interface between the microcontroller and every optical and mechanical device. We have experience in the design and fabrication of circuits for different purposes. Mechanics: Motors, linear stages, sensors and the overall structural engineering are part of our activities. Industrial design: We create the packing, the concept and image of the product. Plastics, fiber glass, aluminum and other materials are used to create this part of the products. We have a qualified team who are able to give support in most of the activities. In some cases we also collaborate with external companies and research institutes.
